Contest Criteria and Selection of Winner:

sjDANCEco will post submissions on the "Vote" page. The voters will be able to vote for their favorites. The top qualifying submissions will be asked to perform in San Jose at our October 9th performance. Contestants must be available to perform live. The Grand Prize Winner will be announced at the Dance Off! and shall receive a prize of $500. Any required taxes and any applicable withholding and reporting requirements are the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner.

Have fun! But please remember your piece is competing to perform at an all ages fundraiser. We reserve the right to remove videos for any reason, stated here or not.

Rules:

* Submited dance piece, must be choreographed and performed by you or your company/school.

* One video submission per piece, but you can submit as many pieces as you like.

* The minimum age for any performer shown in the video is 13.

* A valid email address and availability to perform your piece if chosen is required.

sjDANCEco reserves the right to disqualify any entrants who submit any false information concerning identity, postal address, telephone number, originality and ownership of the Submission, or any Submission sjDANCEco believes infringes upon or violates the rights of any third party, or violates the Official Rules of this Contest, including any Submissions it deems in its sole discretion to be lewd, obscene, pornographic, disparaging of sjDANCEco or its audience or otherwise contain objectionable material.
